Cybersecurity & AI Executive

Masoud Heydari

Security should be demonstrable, not just promised.

I build companies and security programs around that idea, turning cybersecurity, AI, and enterprise risk into decisions boards can act on.

Proof over promises

I co-founded Tynrose Secure on a simple conviction: if your security can't be demonstrated, it doesn't count. Every engagement gets senior ownership and an evidence-backed path through CMMC, SOC 2, HIPAA, and NIST 800-171.

That conviction comes from twenty years inside companies of every shape, from venture capital to hospitality, watching organizations spend heavily on security they couldn't demonstrate. The evidence usually existed. Nobody could produce it when it mattered. I build companies that close that gap.

Today I lead security and operations at Tynrose, run PROTBYTE, where I build technology and AI compute infrastructure for companies, and develop Sentinel, the free scan that shows any organization where it actually stands. I'm based in Austin, Texas.

What I'm building

Everything answers the same question: can you prove where you stand?

Tynrose Secure

Managed security, compliance, and IT for organizations that need to prove their posture, not just describe it. Senior-led engagements take clients from first gap assessment to passed audit, with evidence at every step.

Tynrose Sentinel

Free

The app I'm developing under Tynrose Secure: an external scan with no signup, no agent, and no sales call. Enter a domain and it analyzes email authentication, DNS, TLS, security headers, exposed assets, and known CVEs, then delivers a security score and a prioritized, executive-ready report.

PROTBYTE

Technology and AI compute infrastructure for companies: secure networking, continuity systems, and the platforms AI workloads actually need. Founded in 2024. Sentinel was first built here.

What I care about

Proof, not paperwork

Compliance should produce evidence you can hand to an auditor, a customer, or a board, not binders that age in a drawer. If it can't be demonstrated, it isn't done.

Security that moves at business speed

Detection, response, and governance designed so the answer to "can we?" is usually "yes, safely," measured in minutes and decisions rather than meetings.

AI adopted deliberately

Organizations should move fast with AI without moving carelessly. That takes real guardrails: governance, threat modeling, and infrastructure built for the workloads AI actually creates.

Boards deserve straight answers

Technical risk translated into plain language and clear options. Executives shouldn't need a glossary to make a security decision.
